Eat Breakfast and Lose Weight

It is true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Research shows that breakfast eaters are more successful at losing weight and maintaining that weight loss compared to breakfast skippers. Having a balanced healthy breakfast will also help keep cravings and between meal snacking at a minimum. People who have breakfast are less likely to binge on unhealthy foods such as candy and pastries because they are not having sugar lows or feeling sluggish. They are also less likely to have an unhealthy lunch or dinner and are less likely to over eat the remainder of the day.

Even when you are in a hurry or running late, you can have a healthy breakfast. You really do not have an excuse for skipping breakfast. If you're pressed for time in the morning, stocking your fridge with portable, ready-to-eat portions of fruit and veggies in sandwich bags, hard-boiled eggs, and low-fat or non-fat yogurt cups, allows you to grab something quick , easy, and nutritious.

You can also have healthy items stashed in your purse, car or desk drawer like nuts, fruit and protein powder.
